Burden of Perfection: Yummy Bar-B-Q Is Good

WHEN: March 19, 2007, 7:30pm-ish. WHERE: Yummy Bar-B-Q (522A Yonge Street, Toronto). WHO: michelaimeepierre. WHAT: Fast and cheap Korean food, Bar-B-Q style! We all had the bar-b-q combo with our choice of 2 meats. Chicken was very good, but we all agreed the beef and pork were excellent. Tasty, flavourful goodness. (Ribs were mediocre at best). Like any Korean worth its salt, came with plenty of tasty treats, although the kimchee was kinda sub-par. It's not fine dinning, but it's a lot of good food at a great price (sub $10). And despite the rumours, there's nothing wrong with the macaroni salad. WHY: Had had Korean a couple of days ago, but (foolishly) didn't get my bar-b-que fix at the time. Now I'm sated. HOW: Subway to Wellesley, walk south on Yonge about a minute. MMM/5
