WHEN: November 1st, 7:30ish WHERE: California Sandwiches, 1603 The Queensway WHAT: Massive veal sandwiches for the men, wimpy chicken for me (I am not against veal, I'm conflicted). No one could quite bring themselves to order everything, although provolone was considered mandatory. We have definitely planned a second trip where we will all order everything and I vow to have the veal. I regret not having had a container of olives. I also dropped an empty Brio bottle in slow motion. We all watched it fall thinking someone else would reach out and prevent the catastrophe. Ah well. WHY: Obviously you haven't been there. Also it fits our mandate of 10.00 max (not a hard and fast rule). We also seem to lean toward hungryman fare, i.e. carbs, lard, meat. We're macho like that.
